The Akano Foundation supports health, innovation, and cultural awareness in Nigerian communities by providing access to medical care, infrastructural improvements, education, and technology.

- Improving access to potable water in rural communities
- Develop technology hub providing electricity and internet connectivity, improving access and education

- Increasing cultural knowledge in the young by sharing African folklore with school children throughout GA and the country at large
- Support organizational efforts to ease cultural transition in recently relocated individuals and families
Medical outreach & education
- Support bi-annual medical mission trips to remote regions in Nigeria
- Improve access to medical testing and medication
- Educate and counsel patients on their diseases and medications
