Please join the Akano Foundation to help provide some financial support to Vivian Chinemerem Ijezie, a 26 year old senior in college, majoring in Estate Management at the Federal Polytechnic in Imo State, Nigeria.
Vivian developed end stage kidney failure is on dialysis because she lost about 85-90% of her kidney function and is currently in a hospital – Chapel Group Hospital in Imo State. She is in dire need of eight million Naira (N8m = $20,000) to undergo a kidney transplant. The dialysis treatment, which she receives twice a week, has not been an easy process in this part of the world, especially because of the lack of constant electricity to keep the machines going.
Her poor widowed mother has disposed of all their valuables to pay for the ongoing treatment. Vivian who currently has a swollen abdomen and extremities is really battling to stay alive and life expectancy on dialysis can vary depending on your other medical conditions and how well you follow your treatment plan.
Vivian solicits for your prayers and any financial assistance you can afford to save her life.
